I have a small bathroom (6' x 6') currently illuminated by 3 x 50w halogen GU10 lamps.
I'm considering replacing these with 3w LED lamps to save cash/the planet.
Does anyone know if there is a marked difference in illumination between the two?
Thanks

Humble apologies. I stopped reading at "Ooh, deja vu" but on re-reading I now see your link and thank you very much for the info.

Okay, I bit the bullet and spent £21.00 on three 3w LED GU10 lamps. The result is, so far, good. Not quite as crisp a light as the halogen 50w ones but with a fraction of the running costs I can live with it.
All in all I'd say a success.
Thanks for the update. It's always useful to know whether or not 'theory' and 'practice' actually meet up!
