I put the central heating on for the first time yesterday and now my little one has got a nasty chesty cough. He has not been I'll or had a runny nose, etc. Is this a coincidence or is it the CH? If it is the CH, is there anything I can do? (Obviously need the heating on but can't have him coughing like this all winter.) Thanks

Not knowing the history of your family, whether there is a history of eczema, asthma or hay fever, I would have thought that there is a direct relationship between the central heating and the cough that your child is experiencing.

If there is a family history of allergy then I would recommend that you see your GP.
could be dust from the radiators causing an allergic reaction

He has no allegies but was actually born coughing. The CH being in hasn't bothered any of the others though
