It's Lasagne here today, with village salad, garlic bread, bubbles and red wine.

Do you know what you fancy, Ummmm?

I've recently discovered a love for beetroot, Ethandron.
always do on a sunday ummmmmm..

Roast beef. roast potatos, cauliflower cheese, carrots, that's if I get of my b*m and do it. Well at least the roast is in the oven.
i stopped doing a proper sunday dinner many years ago when the kids were still at home. they'd all be off doing stuff and i'd be slaving in the kitchen getting hotter and grumpier (yes, i do occasionally get grumpy) then be left with all the clearing up when they'd finished and all buzzed off again. i decided it was my week-end too and they were all old enought to get something for themselves.
Probably a Mcdonalds at about 9pm then a packet of crisps around midnight
I fancy a roast. I just don't fancy doing the shopping. One son at church, the other at football, him in bed....!!!
Roast chicken, roast tatties, braised leeks, steamed broccoli followed by sticky toffee pudding and cream.

Never mind, Bob, at least you'll have a decent meal tomorrow night ;-)

Salla, that actually sounds quite tasty. My dad is grasstracking today, so it's just mum and me for lunch - hence the lasagne and not a roast. Oh well, there'll be plenty of wine...

AYG and Eccles... you put the rest of us to shame !!

I love stew. I always put a whole cinnamon stick, a whole nutmeg, a couple of squares of dark choc, a bouquet garni and some bay leaves in mine.
I think we might go to the pub for dinner. At the moment we're still thinking on breakfast.
