Im up in our snug (loft conversion away from the world its ace).Just painting the pic.
Harry went to the Legion so I prepppd the tea.
I heard him come in (TV muted as I had been on the phone) -he floorboards creaked and he sneezed.

So I roared Harry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing

So I roared Harry what are you doing ??????

Nothing but floorboards creaking.

So being comfy and lazy I phoned him to tell him to leave the tea and just come upstairs -he answered.......in the Legion !!

I dont know who got the biggest fright -I ran downstairs as he ran across -looks like I distrubed 'it'.See Harry is generally away but has been off past 2 weekends.

This isnt a joke and im still shaky so LOCK your doors in this lovely weather peeps -its an open invite :(

You know i dont fabricate -it was so weird cos it so was Harry to me -i was nonchalannt as this is our wee haven -he was just feet away from me but when he didnt answer I thought obviously ive missed a veg out or something or havent set the table hence the phone call.......................weird and scary.I had the door shut but it wasnt locked or else he would get in-everything is bolted up now and he can now go back to the pub secure in the knowledge I wont have to phone him during a crucial pool match again :)

I've got some nice wine for later. I went to the Sushi bar in Selfridges today which was lovely then went round to Bar Estilo in the Mailbox for a couple of drinkypoos.

I'm going to soak in the bath later with a nice glass of vino.

Sushi would have been ane excellent idea - I was off to interogate you on-line but a simple catch up email is long overdue -loads to spill (you'll have guessed lol) dont want to give too many personal details out on a public forum:) I'll catch up with you v soon.

Any how you seem chirpier than this morning-are they kicking in yet do you think?
A lovely long soak would be lovely -i had one last night courtesy of the aforementioned Harry and it was lovely and i had the best sleep -well i do anyway but this one was better cos of the dream lol !!

A few little vinos will do you more good than harm.I dodnt stop whem im on antis -I just drink as per =so that means somedays i have notjing but if I fancy a Baileys on ice (just remembered i have that in the fridge -does it go off?) then I will have one.

I'm feeling better now that I've had an afternoon nap, thanks. The sushi was divine but the wasabi was too tame for my palate.

Our cat makes the floorboards creek sometimes and she is by no means heavy. Scares the beejeebus out of me! esp if she is hiding asleep upstairs and we've not realised when going to bed. Waking up in pitch black to creaking floorboards at 2am is def a heart stopping moment!!!!

Ive got a cat but he still hasnt mastered the door handle yet lol.
Im fine now -im not really easily scared just freaked after if you know what i mean.I act then reflect.I have an idea who it was and it could have gone one of two ways -luckily shouting on Harry was probably the right thing to do -that'll be a first then ......or he wasnt too despertate for a fix :(
