Sounds like she`s not drinking enough water
yeh dehydration is a big factor - also should try wearing a sun hat and putting on plenty of lotion. Trying to keep out of the sun at the strongest times of the day. Is she overweight at all as I believe that would lead her to suffering a bit more?
if she's been sweating a lot make sure she is taking in enough salt. keeps her cool with wet towels and give plenty of fluids to sip. Vitamins A & C.
Presumably she wears natural fabrics and loose clothing? Wearing polyester or anything with nylon in it makes me believe in spontaneous combustion!
Also, how about one of those little battery-operated hand-held fans to carry around with her.
Your girlfriend could also try puttin her wrists under cold running water when she starts to feel too hot as it cools the blood and cools you down really quickly.
Good luck.
