How would you describe the taste of plain, ordinary water? It has a ph of 7, meaning it isn't acidic or alkaline but you can taste some of the minerals in it.

My cousin always calls it dinosaur wee. He doesn't like it, and ever since he learnt about the water cycle, uses this as an excuse, even though, most of what he drink contains water mixed with stuff.

I think it tastes a bit like air.
The water where i live is 1st rate. Very soft so no scaling in the kettle. It tastes lovely especially when chilled.

Red, technically fish don't have sex, the eggs get fetilised after they've been released.

flob, air can taste different, depending on where you are.
my mother wouldn't eat eggs as she was convinced they were poultry menstruation 'periods' - I eat eggs; not as daft as mum.
It tastes the same as the air of the place you are at the time then.
It's the Fertilisation that gives it a funny taste ! Boil it well.....
I mix it with a little drop of malt whiskey. Makes it quite palatable

sandy, or is that a drop of water with the whisky?
I prefer it mollies' way a little drop of water in a large malt whisky
Up here where the normal folk live we call it Corporation Pop.
Water tastes different all over the country. The nicest water I ever remember was when I lived in Birmingham and the water came from a reservoir in Wales. Welsh water is lovely. The worst (with no disrespect to Molly) was in Norfolk when we stayed at the holliday camp in Caister, the water tasted like boggy tangy stuff - that was my first venture into drinking bottled water for a week!
We have beautiful drinking water fresh from the Highlands here-so its pure and refeshing.
