He was in University but came to UK to work as a barman for the summer. I was 15, he was 27.... It was all relatively innocent (snog, tongues, but no penetrative sex....if you really must know) but we continued to write to each other after the summer and I thought he was the absolute Mutts Nuts. He was really rather gorgeous - looked a bit like the actor who played Luka Kovacin E.R, - Goran Visnjic). All the girls at school were envious which did my street cred a world of good.
He returned the following year with his younger brother Michael in tow...
They both returned to Yugolavia, Feri wrote to say he had to join the Army and I never heard from him again :-(

Ibiza in the 70's. Massive thunderstorm and all the lights went out in the hotel bar. I was with a Scottish girl & we decided to make hay whilst the sun didn't shine. She was laid on a table, & I was performing in the standing position. A group came blundering into the bar just as the lights came back on...We nearly got thrown out of the hotel as Spain was no where nearly as liberal as it is today.
On my first trip 'abroad'...to Bermuda,my best mate and I hooked up with two Austrians who were working in the hotels over there. It stayed innocent....for me anyway-tho the Austrians seemed to think that as Americans we were automatically classed as 'loose women'. We only wanted them for their scooters........I guess it was a fair exchange.
Butlins Skegness, 1953, the year that I went to Uni. She was gorgeous ( well perhaps not that good;-) and worked on the hardware counter in Woolworths Wolverhampton and I tried my hardest to get her into my chalet, but to no avail. On the 3rd night I changed to plan B and told her that I was a fighter pilot, flying Meteors in the RAF and that on take off before exercises, we all had pictures of our girl friends in the cockpit on which we would place a kiss. I was the only one in the squadron without a girlfriend and hence no photograph. She cracked, took me to her chalet to sort out a photograph and we ended up in bed. I waved her good bye at the station, promising to write..........LOL
