you have answered you own question in a lot of ways, when you spend time with a person, part of their personality will rub off onto you, his behaviour will become normal and you may even adopt some of it...which is what looks like is happening here
> Why do we get jelous of our partner?

Insecurity, fear, uncertainty and doubt.

By the way, it's *jealous*...
If I may be bold you sound quite young, jealousy is very often a sign of insecurity and as you mature you will learn to control it. Especially if you have the right partner.
End it now - it'll eat away at the relationship like a canker.
Isn't he on remand..........?

Question Author
(Jackthehat) yes he is
So what on earth are you finding him doing that causes you such great jealousy ?
Question Author
Its not me its him and its left me like that too..
These were the problems from before but obviously he still is that way, i dont blame him because of where he is at the moment.. I just dont understand why some say that its Jealousy=Love :s
No sarah, jealousy and love are not at all the same things. What are you jealous about?
Question Author
But they say that when you love someone its normal to feel jealous beacuse of the thought that they can be with someone else other than you i guess..
Is he getting particularly fond of his cell-mate, or something ?
normally feelings of jealousy arise when the person does not feel good about themselves, then insecurity takes over.
That's insecurity, not jealousy. When my OH goes out to work and is away for several days (which happens often), I don't fret about who he's with and what he's doing. He knows the score as well as I do, playing away is not part of the deal. You have to have self-confidence and believe in yourself - if your bloke is jealous that you might be seeing someone else then it's a problem with him, not you. I do beleive it's not uncommon for people in prison to worry about what their other halves are doing while they are shut up.
