Not out for lunch, its too traumatic. Or the cinema as you cant really get to know each other. A few hours strolling along the seafront and a coffee? I'm a bit traditional so would pay but wouldnt feel offended if she did. Maybe a fleeting kiss. I wouldnt dive in (again!)

A decent restaurant is a must - no theatre or cinima - You have to talk. I would have no objection to paying especialy if I asked, I would be embarrased to ask for a contribution but wouldn't object to go dutch.

A kiss is fine but I wouldn't want to offered any more, if I was looking for a relationship.
