I've just changed from Logynon to a mini-pill. My first period on the new pill is now on day 20. If I go back to the doctor is he likely to be able to do anything, or is this how the contraception works? I'm reet fed up.

Sorry, poorly worded and I don't seem to be able to edit - what I meant by "is now on day 20" is that my period has so far lasted for twenty days. tsk.
I went on the mini pill last year and my doctor told me that it can affect different women in different ways. Some have no periods at all, some have normal ones and some have almost continuous beeding. He said that it usually settles down after about 3 months though. I have been lucky and had no periods whatsoever.

Maybe go back and they may be able to swap you onto a different one.
I think you should give it a bit more time to "settle" but the mini-pill doesn't regulate your periods at all. I took it for a couple of years and had no periods, which was quite nice once I was sure I wasn't pregnant!

if you're having real problems, see your GP.
I think I'll make an appointment, just in case. Hopefully it'll be like when you make an appt. at the dentist - you wake up on the morning and the problem's gone. You two are so lucky. I was warned, but didn't think for a minute that they'd last three weeks! And counting.....
how come you have two accounts?
She's hardly using a completely different name. You use to get banned for over posting so loads of us have spare names very similar to our original.

Erm, at the risk of stepping into something here, I have an account at home and one at work, and used the same name with the one digit difference so people might realise that. Sorry not to reply earlier, but when I appeared to have all the answers I was going to get, I stopped looking.
