Question Author
No she can taste it , it's weird if you ask me !
Long shot but women often experience a metalic taste in their mouth during pregancy. I know I can taste the element if the water has been in the kettle overnight...
I can tell if the water is reboiled, it changes the taste of the drinks.
I always empty my kettle as soon as I have finished with the water and rinse it out with fresh cold water.
Are you pregnant NoMercy? well blow me down.
No I am not, Dina. But I do have very sensitive tastebuds. Tastebud sensitivity is also common in pregnant women.
boiled water do have a different taste.
I think it`s because any lime/and or chemicals in the hard water areas has been boiled out and is adhered to the insides of the kettle so that it alters the taste.
I always fill with fresh water even if someone says "it boiled a few minutes ago".
its because boiling reduces the amount of oxygen in the water, so twice boiled water tastes much flatter
