Why does my nose keep running when I bend down or lean over when I don`t have a cold and haven`t had one for years? This can be quite embarrasing sometimes if I`m visiting friends, besides keeping the tissue manufacturers in the money.

Vasomotor rhinitis of the elderly....."dew drop" at the end of the nose.

Annoying....yes......but no big deal.

Your GP can give you a nasal spray.
Sudafed dries up nasal drip.

Sqad: About two months ago my GP gave me Aqueous Nasal Spray for my ear problem (Aquacious tubes) and they didn`t help, so I`ll try Sudafed as tamborine suggests.

The spray is called` Flixonase`, I forgot to mention that.
