My grown up daughter has not been able to deal wtih her fathers death. She had a breakdown earlier this year triggered by Fathers day and has not worked since. Just when I think she is getting better she seems to hit rock bottom again. I don't know what to do. When she was in hospital I was promised all sorts of support but for the last 2 months I have just been trying to cope on my own. I don't know how to help her. For the last couple of days she has hardly been out of bed. I feel like I have not had time to do my own grieving and really feel close to the edge, where do I get help?

I can't get her to go to the doctor last time I did she was sectioned and so she won't go. She is not 'crazy' like she was when she had to be sectioned but her behaviour is very unusual - sometimes she is kind and caring and other times like when I suggest she go see a doctor or gets out of bed she goes crazy at me. Not sure I can cope with much more. I don't know what to do
Get the doctor round to you then.

There is little chance of that they would not come when my husband was dying!
My daughter was let out of hospital 2 weeks ago off a section 3.
I have very little support also and have to work 40 hours a week plus I have a 3 year old and am a single parent.
She still has no money sorted so I am having to keep her as well.
It's just disgusting that we are expected to do everything for them as well isn't it?
My daughter is wanting to drink again too, that was part of the reason she ended up mentally ill as she was drinking and started taking drugs. She lost a good job etc through this.
Would you like to exchange email addresses and maybe we can support each other that way as often I feel that no one understands how hard it is?
I am a very strong person as I have had alot of hardship in my life which is helping me cope but as I work long hours, I often wonder what I am going to come home too.
They were looking that she had bi polar but I'm not convinced as I feel its something else as well.
We can only help people so much, the reat as to be up to them and that is the frustrating part.
