My wife had a week long heart monitor attached (after which she was given a months hence Consultant appointment and has now been asked to attend (in a months time) for a 24 - hour Tape. The consultants appointment coming in between the two tests. Her GP knows nothing of the tests results.
Is the 24 - tape test more important than the week test or could it just be a clerical error.
With many thanks,

I would telephone the Consultants secretary, explain the situation and ask if the 24 hour test needs to be done before seeing the Consultant as she has an appointment booked with him before the date of the test. At the moment the NHS is a shambles, my husband has recently had a heart attack and stroke and I have spent hours on the telephone sorting various clerical errors and oversights in his care. Good Luck and I hope your wifes health improves soon.
