Gingers cousin met a woman on facebook 2 weeks ago. After a week he bought her round to meet us. She seemed nice enough....
Anyway, he has a habit of attracting nutters (he's a bit of one himself) so after a week of seeing each other they are both updating their status' with 'I love you David' 'I love you Heidi' 'I'm so happy' and so on and so on.
I phoned him and mentioned that people might be reading it thinking it was a bit much and are you sure she's not another nutter. He said no, she doesn't self harm and she's not on anti depressants...her only problem is that she's anorexic...
How can you love someone in a week? and why do people put it all over facebook?
because thats how people are. I myself woyld find it a bit worrying but also would not say a thing as its up to them and better they be happy than sad. If it all goes wrong I;m sure they will learn
4get...I don't say much really. I done the whole 'I'm happy you're happy' routine. I only mentioned it because I've just spotted a comment from Ginger saying 'stop posting your life on the internet you knob'
Some people claim to. Others claim to fall in love at first sight. If they're not hurting anyone other than being incredibly dull leave them be... Hopefully it'll all work out well for them.
You cant stop people though. It drives me mad when my mate goes on in too much detail about her life and how she's gonna kick her bloke out. I feel so sorry for him sometimes and know she wouldnt like it if her wrote about her. I;ve told her and she stopped for about a week
It doesn't bother me how they feel about each other. It doesn't actually bother me that they put it all over facebook as I find it mildly amusing. It just confuses me as to why people feel the need to post their whole life on FB.
I wouldn't dream of telling someone I love them in less than a week. And if someone said those words to me in less than a week my nutter alarm would go off.
one of my friend has just put this on status updates, think its quite apt
is it me or is it the same people who put they are 'really really happy 'on their FB updates are often ones who put 'has had enuf' 'fed up' or 'fink all men are tw@ts' a few weeks later
