I have a medical for my new job tomorrow morning at 8.30, but due to the england match being on tonight I was hoping for a couple of cans for it. I know that alcohol is one of the things they are going to test for the medical, so will it be okay or is alcohol off all completely? cheers

play it safe and catch up tomorrow night :)
yeah - I'd probably play it safe. Or go for that new alcohol-free stuff that's suposed to be pretty authentic (don't know the name of it).
Depends what the job is of course, and also how much you want it.... but I'd defer the inebriation for tonight.
depends do you actually mean a couple of cans as in two? all you need to do is work the units out, which are usually stated on the side of the side and allow an hour for each unit once you stop drinking.

i would of thought you would be safe enough with just two cans but i suspect you probably meant a few more than that in which case i wouldn't risk it, good luck with the medical
What's wrong with a nice cup of tea - in a cup and saucer of course.
