I am an adult who may have to have a grommet in my left ear. Have any other adults had this minor op and how was it?

How do you know he's a doctor? Is it cos he said he was??!
I give up.
Ok - generally ok and your do not hesitate to ask bit is nice . Your first comment on the second answer seems a bit sarky but is probably your sense of humour - sara help !!!!
oh dear.

so long as you don't use his services instead of your own GP, what's the problem?

and I believe he's not allowed to perform virtual surgery any more.

I'll try my question on another web site. Looks like the doc is sulking now.
I just believe him at this stage cheesefreak but as he always says don't just take his advice go see your doctor. Again hope you're feeling better soon
Thank you sara succinct and to the point
OK, so I'll play devil's advocate. Sqad, we all know and love your "big deal/nbd" comments - new posters might not realise the difference. You gave a factual answer as to what happens. The poster asked for others who have had this op (ie a personal experience rather than a medical opinion). I don't see anything wrong with your answer Sqad, it's just not quite what Cheesefreek was looking for.

You are never both going to agree on this one!

And please - no one shout at me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I was asking for advice, any comments regarding my query would be welcomed cheese, I didnt see that much wrong with sqads response although I do realise you want to get feedback from people who have had the op themselves.

you could also try other sites and forums, this forum may be useful to you..

aww c'mon cheesefreek, whats the guy said that is so wrong?
He is giving you the answer you wanted, and it is better coming from a professional person, is it not?

Bobbi
well I would welcome any relevant responses, cheesefreak is lucky she doesnt get the joke responses that serious questions often get on AB.
sqad pet, I would give up, you are dammed if you do and dammed if you don't
but we love ya, don't we lasses???
we do :o)
How could you not ? :)
I think Cheesefreek is being rude.
I've seen Sqad's credentials {:OD
