hi all, owing to increasingly poor mobility/flexibilty issues, i have for the first time in my life started to use towels instead of tampons. how does everyone chuck them away? I have a bin in my bathroom but don't want them just sitting there and as it's upstairs i can't empty it every day. How do people usually deal with this?

My wife uses nappy sacks - they are perfumed.
^ as above can't think of an alternative. I just wrap tampons up ,as if you flush them they end up in the sea - yuck - and put them in the nappy sack. Last lot I got was from Asda 300 sacks for 82p - bargin.
Nappy sacks too.
