I read this morning that Coca Cola and MacDonalds are continuing to trade with Russia and have not joined other big companies in ceasing trading.

Do you think that this should be made known to the public and also should we stop buying their products because of their behaviour?

//I think it's more a way of getting the little people of Russia to turn on their 'president'.//

I get that but the problem is it is not guaranteed they will see it that way. You have to remember they are isolated to a large degree and bombarded with propaganda. If you are not careful you end up reinforcing the propaganda.

I dont have the answer, my personal thing as stated above is to boycott them hoping they do close up shop. But I am also trying to see the wider picture.
I’m wondering more and more what NATO actually has to fear from Putin’s war machine.
More pictures today of farmers near Mikolaiv trying to commandeer abandoned military vehicles and even one tank.
After this experience, why would he want more of it?

the baltic states are in NATO, I doubt he'll go for them, Finland inexplicably is not so he could go there.
The Finns have already defeated the Soviet Union in one war.
Large country invades smaller neighbour thinking it will roll them over quickly but gets bogged down and has to withdraw.
Sound familiar?
Tho they did cede territory, what is now known as the republic of Karelia I think.
One can not close outlets if the outlets opt to continue to run. Can't go over and invade to force closure. If HQ ain't sending stuff to them they can use local produce.

I find this whole episode so sad and tragic. Just for the mentality of one seemingly uncontrollable man.
Everyone is scared of war, but while we sit and just watch whats happening it will only get a lot worse.

There are two ways of handling any bully. You can roll over and let them have their way, their way will be to break you down mentally or kill you outright.
The second option is really the only option, to face your fears and hit back.

This bully has no shame in letting the world watch while he slaughters women and children in front of our very eyes.

How many wake up calls do we need before we take action that will make a difference.
The US only got involved with the 2WW After a wake up call by Japan ( pearl harbor) Don't wait for anymore ***T to hit the fan, and thousands are dead.
