Sensodyne is supposed to help with sensitive teeth.
I like sensodyne gentle whitening as it has no sodium laurel sulphate in it ( foaming agent ) as SLS gives me mouth ulcers.
yep sensodyne
Leeray, definitely agree with Naomi...that is exactly the one I use...I had ultra sensitive teeth and although I was a Colgate girl all my life, it took me a few days to get used to Sensodyne but i wouldn't be without it now. I can even have ice cream now!
I agree with all the above. Arm and Hammer also have a good one that is also supposed to repair tooth enamel. That is the most succesful one that I have used yet. Persevere with it, it may take time, but eventually you will notice a difference.
Initially get a small tube of Sensodyne Gel, and put a small dollop directly onto the sensitive areas. Leave it there as long as you can.

It will hurt, but helps to desensitize quite quickly. Once your teeth have calmed down you can switch to normal Sensodyne toothpaste.
Wilko sell a very good one also called `extra care, Sensitive Whitening` This is every bit as good as Sensodyne
I like Wilko for their cheap products, but since when did they sell an own brand item that is 'every bit as good as ...'?
Panic: I`m using it for very sensitive lower fronts which I`m waiting to have out and find it`s ok for me.
Like oldmegan I use the Arm & Hammer Enamel care and, just as importantly leeray, find a good toothbrush. I've found the Sensodyne one is by the far the best I've ever used. The dentist has asked me to have a clean and polish every 3 months - little & often is less painful!
I used to use Sensodyne but it didnt really seem to help so now use Arm & Hammer Enamel Care
Very good
