Posted this under shopping with no replies so thought I'd give it a try on here. I have a couple of prolapsed discs in my neck and am therefore always on the lookout for anything which might make my life a little more comfortable. I saw these Air Max Pillows on TV and they really looked impressive - well for 50 a pair they should be - anyway they arrived this morning and whilst I am eager to try one out I was shocked to find that they are at least half the size of the ones they demonstrate with on the Best Direct 'infomercial'! What can I do other than simply return them, should I refer the advertisement to the Advertising Standards Agency or is it not worth the aggrevation?

I would just return them Krustyman and get a refund. You could enclose a letter telling them you're not satisfied with the product. Me and my OH sleep on Dunlopillow's. They're very good.
I've never heard of Air Max pillows. I would definitely return them and demand a refund if they look nothing like you expected them to.
Maybe you should look into buying a Memory Foam pillow, they are great for neck problems :)

Thanks, I have a couple of memory foam pillows - one especially designed for neck injuries. I have seven other orthpaedic pillows including one 'sprung' pillow and am therefore always on the lookout for a 'better' pillow in order to reduce pain and to cut the number of times I have to wake up in the night to try and move without causing more pain. I've even tried pillows with inflatable inserts so that you can adjust them for 'comfort' without success.
