I have worked it out from my bill and it's 9 units a day in summer and 15 in winter even though we have gas central heating.

We are out all day, with basic stuff using some power fridge etc. It's a four bed detached but just two of us and spend most evening when home both sat in one lit room?

Is this standard usage.

looking back at my bills at one point a few years ago when we first moved in it was 25 units a day until we complained and the next bill was 4 units a day lol blooming con artists
9 in summer 15 in winter sounds on the low side to me. Between October and April our 4 bedroom house used 33 units a day on average. We too have gas central heating and were out of the house at work most days. We had kids thoug who tend to leave laptops on standby. We also use washing machine and dishwasher , plus tumble dryer in winter. Do you not use these? We don't have a wide screen TV but these canuse a lot too.

Not sure what you mean by 'bloomin con artists' . Whilst i agree they bamboozle us with complex tarriifs nowadays, are you questioning their meter readings? You can easily check those yourself.
