guinea pig breathing problems?

we have an 18mth old male guinea and over the last few hours he looks like his breathing is a bit hard he has also had a runny eye and i have bathed it and it didnt return his eyes are bright other than that and he is eating and drinking and being his usual self he had the breathing thing happen a few weeks back but it didnt last long and he was back to normal we have another male guinea who is fine what could this be?

Could be the guinea pig equivalent of hayfever, is he outside, and is there pollen flying around?

hes not outside hes in our frontroom he isnt bedded on any hay as he has had mites in the past he just has hay to eat. he seems a bit better today and like i said he is still active and eating and drinking his toilet habits are normal
