She says the police abused her and forced her to implicate the innocent bar owner. Why would the police do that, only to subsequently eliminate him from the enquiry and release him without charge? Surely they would have nothing to gain by leaving themselves wide open to a civil law suit? And why would they be going to all these lengths and expense to prosecute her, when they already have one man convicted for his part in the murder? It's not like they need a scapegoat. And Knox is being tried alongside her former lover, who happens to be Italian - would they do that to one of their own, unless they had real reason?
(Sorry, JJ, I know you are probably getting sick of me. x )

Well, she said she was nowhere near the scene at the time, yet mobile phone tracking has proved she was. The blood of Meredith Kercher was found in the bathroom, with DNA of Knox mixed in with the blood - suggesting that Knox either tried to wipe or wash Kercher's blood of her..... that's just the tip of the iceberg. She has consistently lied. She lied about being in the supermarket and buying an inordinate amount of bleaching products.
Fluffy ... in a nutshell ... none !
The prosecution case is ...
1. Innuendo
2. Speculation
3. Circumstantial evidence
Hi, NoMercy. If I was getting fed up, then I wouldn't post any more threads.
=0)
But the bar owner hasn't sued the Police ... he has sued Amanda Knox. And the prosecution have allowed his civil suit to be heard concurrently with the criminal trial ...
... oh !! ... funny that !!!!
I think the Police got into it a bit too deep. They couldn't back down without looking stupid.
So, in the best traditions of Italian interrogators ... they duff up the "suspect" in custody, persuade her to frame a local barman, and then let the barman sue the suspect in the same court room.
Next thing, they'll glue a carrot on her nose, and call her a witch.
