Trapped wind ??

Anybody no wats good for trapped wind?? My mums in agony with it she's had a grated apple which usually works but it's not shifted it she's also got type 2 diabetes so as to b carefull wats she takes.. Any advice please ? :) x

You can get it over the counter but you have to ask. I Put the amount I need with some warm water. Sounds weird and disgusting but it's just like drinking warm peppermint. Good luck

"Trapped wind" is that a diagnosis or a symptom?

Tell in simple terms what the problem is and for how long has it been going on .

It's a diagnosis sqad .. Mums suffered with it on an off for years an tryed allsorts or so we thought been an got her some windezze today an touchwood seems to have done the trick :) why oh why we didn't get it sooner well am still baffled :)

P.s she's had a tummy upset for around a week an we think that's wats caused it :)

jonah....it is not a diagnosis that I have heard off. Ist it associated with eating fatty substances? Has she been investigated for it?

It was the doc that told her it was trapped wind ohh got to be 5 years ago .. An she gets it this bad a couple of times a year.. She eats heathily I'm not sure why she gets it maybe because she's been quite stressed lately so possibly gulping more air wat do u think sqad? :)

Still not sure....she should go back to her Dr. and asked to be referred to Gastro-Enterologist as it could be all sorts of things, but gall bladder problems initially come to mind.

Funny u should say that sqad my mum had her gall blader out about 25 years ago and her stomach hasn't been the same since.. Back then it was a big operation.. Now it's all key hole.. I will tell her to go see her gp.. Thanks alot sqad :) x
