Why would a guy have problems committing in a relationship when at the same time they really feel strongly for their partner? confused.com.....

It's called wanting it both ways. It's quite possible that they may be in love with someone yet still yearn to be single at the same time. It's a guy thing but most men grow out of it and eventually relish the benefits of a long term committment.

depends what u mean by commiting.i have been with my partner for 7 years and am very commited but dont plan to get married have kids etc.

I dont understand men who say they are so comminting about don't get married why? Scared of commitment??? that is all that it sounds like otherwise why would you have a problem with getting married???

i'm a gal & i get scared to commit...I see the males perspective with this one, only I do not do flings and fun but I simply wouldnt wana commit at all! So people wana commit? Marry? but why?? really...why? For what??? Live happily ever after? to really know your man is 100% into you and wants to spend his life with you as mere trust does not compensate for this alone. A ring symbolises a never ending relationship...but does a ring on the finger, along with much expenses actually do this??

Marc19985 is your partner achieved all he wants in life? does he feel ready for such a big thing? The cost? The thought of divorce (it does happen) and the cost of it? The thought of spending your whole life with someone...

Take time to build on your relationship. marriage changes nothing in the relationship. Roll with the relationship. When he's ready, you'll know!
