what I can get my friend for her birthday 2moro?

I don't want to get flowers, choccies or wine (too predictable). I don't have a budget as such, but don't feel inclined to spend very much because a) she's never even got me a birthday card and b) she can be quite bitchy sometimes (although I take no notice).

I was thinking maybe some lucky dips for this Saturday's Lotto draw, but is that a bit chavvy?

Well, we are closer now than we ever were before. I used to see her only a couple of times a year. But now I'm at her house on a daily basis looking after her hubbie (who is just my best friend ever!) cos he's terminally ill, and cannot be left alone when Carol goes out to work.
Too right zac.....what is this birthday thing, celebrating another year off your life. I don't buy anyone birtday presents and only very rarely Xmas presents.

A lottery ticket would not seem chavvy if she won !

How about a strip of 20 scratch cards ?

In a strip of 20 consecutive cards, there is nearly always at least one winning card.

Or place a bet on her behalf. May I suggest Brighton to beat Northampton tomorrow night ?
That's not chavvy.....I put them in Christmas cards and last year 3 people won more than I would have spent on them.

I also got one for the bloke who works in my local shop and he won 60. Bless him....he tried to share it with me.
I can understand why u want to buy her something NoMercy, why not get her some of those little mix and match toiletries u can buy in Boots. Or some Pick a Mix or u know whats nice, a little book like a journal that she could just write things down in perhaps with a nice pen.

your heart is in the right place and I am sure u will buy her something nice.
