Yes many times over the years..I'm on propranolol at the minute but there not doing anything..I'm going back to docters at t.time can anyone reccomend anything that works for them please x
i have had similar probs in past, but not as long as you've had to suffer. a horrible feeling,m so called'better half' never sympathetic either to anything like that.can you find a local support group?
Jonah you have to get your breathing under control. When the attack starts try lying flat on the floor, face up, put your arms stretched out flat over your head. That should help to regulate your breathing. It's the shallow breathing that is making you feel strange. Ask your doctor to refer you to a councillor. I used to suffer from panic attacks for years. You will get it sorted eventually. Just remember you wont die from it. I do really feel for you. Life is so stressful. We weren't meant to live at the pace we do.

she didnlt mention coffee just caffeine, which is in tea and fizzy drinks
How did you get on Jonah?

My partner had panic attacks on and off for years. Then I started. Every time I had one he told me to try and think about what colour my underpants or socks were, or something very mundane! Eventually they pass and I can get on with seeing what's causing them.

Good advice from Silverlace there, to counteract the hyperventilation.

Also had excellent chiropractic - a very different form which is very effective, called Network. My panic attacks disappeared.

Drugs are a short term cure, but you really need to look at what's causing them. Some deep-rooted stress most likely that needs to be addressed.

Good luck!
