I'm 28 weeks pregnant and my baby gets hiccups about 2-3 times a day! Does this seem normal? I assume its hiccups anyway, its faint and rhythmic but cant feel it from the outside. It just seems like a lot to me. Thanks L x

I was completely plagued by this in my first pregnancy! the old wives' tale is that your baby will have lots of hair.. my daughter had loads... but then so does her mother....... !

when I had a big bump I used to balance the remote control on it, and when the baby hiccupped, it went up and down like a see-saw :o)

Aw cute!
Maybe I will feel it from the outside when bubs is a bit bigger.
I was born with the most hair I've ever seen on a child! I looked like a lego man! So there might be something in that. Thanks for quick answer.
anytime.. and enjoy the peace and quiet while you can!

best of luck x
I'm 36 weeks pregnant and have the same thing, since about 24 weeks. If a friend or partner puts their ear against your bump and listens carefully, they may be able to hear the accompanying noise (although obviously it won't sound like when we hiccup!). However, my husband regularly gets a kick in the head from junior if he tries it!
Good luck
perfectly normal. My 2 both hiccuped not long after i ate and once they were born they hiccuped after every bottle lol

Mine had hiccups several times every day. Then when he was born and he had his first hiccups on the outside he really scared himself, lol.
Mine had hiccups all the time before she was born. She was born with quite a bit of hair and now at 3 weeks old still hiccups all the time!
