It has affected me quite a bit, I feel very tired and keep feeling sick but I hope it will wear off eventually, 2 years ago when I had it for my spine cancer I was being looked after in hospital but I'm by myself now so probably feeling a bit sorry for myself with no one to care for me but you know me I'll get through it! Thanks for all your concern, it's nice to think someone has taken the trouble to care. x

How is it going Gelda? I really hope its not been too bad for you this week.
gelda,
One more day to go! Is that right?
Once the treatment is over, you will begin slowly to feel a bit more like youself. It is a slow process, but hopefully the treatment will work.
Take good care of yourself gelda. I do know what you are going through. It is horrendous.
You will get there.
You have us gelda. Come on and post to let us know how you are doing. Just go with the flow until you start to feel a bit better.
Hang in there. xxxxx

Thanks once again all of you. I'm feeling quite rough at the moment and the pain doesn't seem to be getting any easier but I'm trying to do things to take my mind off it (like visiting AB) I've got one more day to go and then possibly a couple of weeks before the pain starts to ease (hopefully) Sorry I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself at the moment, fed up with not feeling well enough to do the things I want to do like going for nice walks although I do force myself to go up to feed my foxes and the birds once a day, anyway I'll just have to grin and bear it! Cruella I keep meaning to ask you how your husband is, you must be going through a bad time as well, sorry I've been a bit selfish! Thanks again all for thinking of me.

Gelda, Just wanted to say I am glad your treatment will have finished today.
As you said, it will take a few weeks to even start to feel a bit more like yourself.
Just take it easy. You deserve to be pampered, and no, you are not being selfish in the least.
One day at a time. Try to get as much rest as possible.
Oh, hubbie been having bad side effects from last op. so they are running tests in ten days before they can operate again.Way overdue, so not a good sign. Still, we will all get there.
Take care. xxx
Hi gelda.
Just popping by to say you have been in my thoughts.
Hope you are managing to hang in there.
Love xxxx
hi gelda. my mum is on it at the moment and she feels the same too.
Have you tried fish balls? They are suprisingly big and not as chewy as you would expect from a pair of testicles. These chinese will eat anything though. I saw someone eat a packet of flies yesterday. granted I was about 10 meters away without my contact lenses in and the packet said raisins. but i am pretty sure it was a packet of house flies.
beat that!

Thanks Cruella, I appreciate your thoughts, all I want do do at the moment is sleep not like me at all! but I'll get through it (I hope). Grav you do make me laugh, keep eating those fish balls they're obviously doing you good and wish your mum all the best from me.
Just checking with you gelda to hear how you are doing today.
the tiredness is all part of the Radiotherapy.
Jst go with the flow and rest as much as possible. One day at a time gelda.
Question Author
Thanks Cruella, I do hope the tiredness is due to the radiotherapy because I'm feeling quite rough at the moment, I've got to see the oncologist in the morning, not looking forward to it! I just get that funny feeling that i'm going downhill, before I seemed to have coped with it but I don't have the energy at the moment, still time will tell I don't really want to give in to it but it's very hard at times. Anyway thanks for asking and tell your hubby to keep strong.
Gelda x
Bless you xxx
C'mon gelda
You have to go on fighting. Know it is hard for you at the moment.
Think positive!!!! That is the way hubbie and myself deal with this awful illness.
Okay days and bad days gelda.
Hopefully it won't be long before you can walk a short distance and feed all the wildlife.
Hey, they depend on you. lol It just takes time.
