In some nasty heterosexual relationships there are wife beaters. And to a much lesser extent husband beaters. Usually, from some demented women on the blob probably.

And from what I have read in the papers and seen in movies, the physical side of domestic abuse involved the man given the woman a back hander. Although I am aware it can come in numerous forms.

Just wondering if make gaylord relationships that suffer from domestic abuse include proper man fights, i.e punching. Or do they slap like birds and pull hair?

Although the question is actually serious, I am rather proud of the fact I have annoyed the peasant classes without the use of bailiffs, prison or the taking away of their roll-ups and White Lightning.

Well done me XXXXXX

Is Regina vrs Brown the Brighton case of two gaylords filming their ball sack being nailed to a table and performing ITM (internal testicular massage) which changed the statute on "consent"???
Of course, some people like getting hurt, it's called masochism. But you'll have to agree that 1/ it is never the case in domestic violence 2/ nobody would know about it, because the people involved would NOT report it, would they?
max - those masochists (there were a lot more than two) were certainly found out when they landed in court for doing horrendous things to each other, by consent.

The guy we used to share a house with had loads of boyfriends and most ended up in a bit of a b*tch fest.
I haven't ever known any gays who have been on the recieving end of a beating from a partner.
I have found that many of them do enjoy the pain factor.
It is just as sound a question as asking why there do not seem to be as many male victims of abuse as women.

Ethel, I'm not disagreeing! I'm just saying that the practice of masochism is very far removed from the issue of domestic violence, isn't it? Domestic violence, as I understand it, involves at least one unwilling party, or it wouldn't get reported by the person suffering the pain.

My young hot/hunky/handsome/gorgeous/unobtainable neighbour has told me he is a poof (presume that means queer/gay). He has horses.......they're his first - last love!

He often has cut-lip/black-eye/bruises received from the males he 'picks up'.

Hi again, terambulan.

It seems an unfortunate fact that a lot of gay men do get thumped when they are "on the pull", possibly because they get attacked by hetero guys.

Different issue from domestic violence, of course.
Obviously I've missed the point and need edicating....what is a gaylord relationship?
Question Author
Gaylord is an affectionate term for homosexual men (gay meaning homosexual and Lord meaning man)

A relationship is a unity of love in this instance. A bond or a couple for example.

Are you joking or did you really have no idea?
JJ said my answer, re my neighbour, was different to domestic abuse.....confused me?
