Back Pain in the side; Muscular?

I have pain in my back more to the side, away from the spine.

Does this sound muscular rather that sometning slipped?

Whats the best treatment for this?

It does sound muscular to me, have you tried ibuprophen, sorry if it's not spelt correctly. They are muscle relaxants as well as pain killers. Speak to a Pharmacist, I ususally take them as the full dose for a few days. Try gentle stretches & nice walks as well, not too much slouching on the sofa. If it lasts more than a few days see the doc.
How high in your back is it? Pain below the shoulder blade can be a symptom of stomach problems. My ex had it and went to the doctor and was found to have helicobacter pylori - a bacteria that causes stomach ulcers. My friend had the same pain a few years later but ignored me when I told her to go to the dr - she now has an ulcer.
PS if it is HP its easy cleared - a course of antibiotics and strong antacids and you're sorted

I nipped to the docs and he said it was muscular. Got painkillers and anri inflams and its a lot better now
