My colleague had her ears pierced about 7 - 8 weeks ago and now wants to replace her original earrings but can't get the backs off! They were piereced at Claires Accessories with "safety" backs. She has tried gripping them with a small pair of pliers but no good!! Any ideas??

try bending the butterflies, stick your nail in between butterfly and back of earing. This should help a bit then just try again, if not go back to claires accessories who I am sure would be happy to help
She could try putting some vaseline round them to grease them to see if that will will.

Just tell her to be careful and gently try and move the back so her fingers dont slip on the grease, she could use a tissue to try and get them out.
