Fake Tan that doesn't smell horrible...

Can anyone recommend a fake tan that doesn't start to smell hideous a few hours after application (you know that nasty biscuity smell). Thanks !

I use Garnier spray which smells lovely, but then maybe that's the biscuity smell you hate so much!! Sorry - not much help there!!

Hi hippyhoppy - lots of the ones I have tried smell nice when first applied, its the smell that develops after a few hours which mings ! Not tried the Garnier one - would you mind giving me the full name ?

I should get promotion for fake bake Im forever bumming them up lol...honestly it's great I've never had a problem with it...if its a creme your after try johnson self tanning lotion or piz buin (sp) they smell lovely. :o)

I found Johnson to be one of the smelly ones! I just bought Garnier summerbody....it smells a bit citrussy and it has given me the most natural glow of any I have tried. Before that I tried Makebelieve---recommended on Look Good Naked. It did absolutely NOTHING!!

I too hate the smell that develops after using fake tan. I've found Palmer-Cutler to be the least minging smell of all the ones I've tried. Good luck finding some though, it's like gold dust.

I always think that the spray tans work best. I like Lancome flash bronzer airbrush body spray, but only use it if I go out where everyone else seems to have a healthy glow!! I'm usually as pale as chalk!

I have heard good things about the Lancome also....but I would most likely spray it in my eyes ;-)

Join the club Icey. I'm almost transparent in winter! I hate being so pale. I always wear trousers so my legs never see daylight and are incredibly white. My right leg isn't seeing any light at all at the moment with this plaster welly on.

Icey is right about spray tans though. I think they give a more even, less patchy coverage.

I don't mind being pale at all really. I've always tried to avoid staying out in the sun. Might be sickly white - but haven't got any wrinkles yet! x

Ice, does the Lancome Flash Bronzer still spray if the bottle is upside down? When trying to do your back and the back of your legs it's a pain to try and hold a spray bottle upright. The Palmer-Cutler one does just about work upside down.

I have several cans of the Sun Labs spray tan and they definitely spray upside down. It gives an instant tan too so you can see where you've sprayed it. Then it develops over about 3 hours. I haven't had a chance to use it yet though, so I don't know whether it's any good or not. It changes hands on eBay for �20-�25 a can sometimes when there's not much of it available elsewhere, so it must be popular.

I can't sit in the sun either. If I can't be in the shade I have to be indoors. I guess that's why I'm always so pale.
