I got my nails done like 4 days ago and I want to take them off because they kept getting dirty and I kept getting them caught in clothing. I was wondering if anybody knew how to take them off with any chemicals or anything.

I thought nail varnish remover would get rid of them but I've never worn them so I couldn't be sure. But that would be using chemicals. Otherwise you can shut them in the hinge of an open door and slam it. Sure you will loose your fingers too but.... (I'm jokin, don't really do this!)
Soak them in an acetone solution and they will melt off. But you are best to go to the nail salon and have them do it as they have to be filed a lot aswell

Cut the nail back as far as it will go, soak them in acetone solution and every 5-10mins wipe them with tissue until they have come off. After you have finished with the acetone solution file your nail plate lightly to get rid of any excess nail left on your natural nail.
You need to soak your nail in Acetone for at least 10 minutes, wiping with lint free pads. After you have taken all the acrylic off it will need a gentle file to take off residue (but dont go mad or your will damage your nail bed) and then massage cuticle oil in to put back the oils in your finger the acetone has taken out.
you were lucky i had mine less than a week and they all fell off with no problem.
at some stores you can get bottles of nail remover its sort of like acetone but the bottles are kind of small but they work then just file the residue of thats what i did it just kind of took long because you have to do one nail at a timeor just go get them taken of by the people who put them on that way you might not loose a nail or somthing (hahaha) not that its ever happend
As Casey says, you can soak them off with nail varnish remover. Best way is to pour boiling water into a bowl, pout the remover into another bowl and place inside. The acetone reacts faster with heat,(& you can always reheat the water). soak for a good 5mins. then get an orange stick, or something that is not too sharp, and gently scrape from the cuticle to the tip. Using ordinary acetone remover, the process can take up to an hour, depending on thickness of acrylic. Gently rinse in warm water. DO NOT thrwo the acetone away, down the sink, as this can casue probs, but let the mixture evaporate. The throw in the bin. I hope this is of help?
