If you put yourself in a hypnotic trance how are you able to revert to consciousness after?

Dont think i would opt for that but he a trained hynotherapist, i can to some degree hypnotise myself after going to see a therapist, but i assume my threapist has imprinted my sub concious i go on in to a calming state which i can come out of at any time! and i only have a 5minutes timescale!!!

Think I would tend to go down the road of conventional Anasthetic.

Video tape yourself clicking your fingers, and then put it on a remote timer to play, say 10 minutes after being in a trance. It's actually a very simple process.

Hypnosis is another form of sleep, any person going into a hypnotic trance would waken up quite naturally.

In a self induced hypnotic trance the person would put in certain safeguards such as, 'if there is an emergency then you will waken up instantly and be aware of everything that's around you'
