Can anyone recall silly things that you may've thought when you were a child?

I always thought that when you paid money into your savings account they kept it in a box for you and gave the exact notes/coins back that you had paid in when you made a withdrawal. I was a bit dismayed when I found out I was getting somebody elses money!

Well it fed 8 of us so there must have been , I remember her taking the cup out and there wasn't a gap as such , it was a nice deep dish you see...........8-o
