to all who gave me advice on 17th went to doctors yesterday and he felt the calf etc and could not find any sign of DVT as you all said it is early days and given the manhandling in this procedure it is not suprising to be very sore etc tried watching a video of the operation yesterday but closed the page after a couple of minutes !! good job i did not see it before i had the op!!!

Pleased that you have been checked out for DVT better to be safe than sorry.Now you will just have to be patient, every day you will see an improvement. Yes it is a very brutal operation.So it is no wonder that we came out bruised and battered.One day you will forget that you have a replacement hip. Good Luck.
