Insurance will not pay for cosmetic treatment - only routine and necessary treatment.

Denplan offer a low cost loan to pay for cosmetic treatment. All the information is on their website:

Denplan expect you to get your teeth in order before they will take you on.

You then pay so much a month (depending on your dentist's view of your dental health) and he does all necessary treatment at no extra charge.

There is as always small print but that's the basic idea.
Being a member of Denplan - but not an owner or a shareholder, I think it works well.

They have a variety of grades and as the posting says, I paid a bit to get onto the B scale
and since then, whenever I have had trouble I have been seen the same day.

Cosmetic - you dont really expect to be insured for cosmetic dentistry - or else none of us would be out ofthe dentists surgery.

300 for cosmetic is not much - a crown in itself is a few hundred.
