it is wrong yes, but if you feel so strongly about it you should talk to him, having one child is not always fair, not that some people can chose to even have more, but its nice to have a sister or brother and being alone can be very lonely. - say this to your partner its not fair on your child you have now, but he may have a valid reason not to want any more
Yes, its wrong. Apparently y dad didnt want any more children so thats why I didnt get a brother for 4 years. If I knew how much more work an extra child was before I wouldnt have done it (that sounds mean, doesnt it?) I feel however, that 3 would be much different to 2. The extra noise is there anyway.
Yes get yourself pregnant and then he can be resentful to the child when it's born as he didn't want it.

Didn't you discuss this when you first met? If not why not?

It's as bad as married couples splitting up because one wants kids and the other doesnt, your adults FFS
yes totally wrong. You want more kids but other half doesnt therefore you have to make that decision to leave him if you really want one that bad. never trap a man into being a father. and rev I disagree on your last statement, some people have to make that decision to split if they really want children. sometimes that can take over the love you have for your partner.
The point I was making 4get is that people appear to get married or get deeply involved in a relationship with no mention of kids i.e. do you want them or not.
It's no wonder us women get a bad name...

Yes, it's totally wrong - and you know it - look at the title of your question.
I think they do but somehow hope they will change their mind.
yes it is wrong to entrap someone like this, if you do 'forget' to take your contarception he will resent you for it, and you will be bringing into the world a human being who will need to be loved by both parents
Yes it is wrong oldgrape to deliberately get pregnant because you want it. You have to take the feelings of both parties on board. Youd be risking your marriage and the future of a happy family, I cant see how its worth it.

Rev, sorry but Ive been in that situation where a marriage has split due to one partner not wanting kids, and it was discussed before we married. Things just didnt work out.
and believe me rev I'm glad they didnt or I would never have the lovely nephew I have now

i love my man so much he is the father to my son who was concieved whilst i was on the pill (i took them correctly) and he loves our son soooo much! the only reason he doesn't want another is he is worried that if we want to go out it will be to hard to get a babysitter for 3 children (he has his eldest son round at weekends) to me that is a silly reason
that is a bit asilly, surely if you have even one child then going out and thoughts on babysitters shouldnt come into it. That to me is a very selfish reason.
but still no reason to trap him
Question Author
but he already has a child with me and another son surely he is already trapped
but as you said he can get a babysitter for these.
God i have 4 and get chance to go out quite often, we still have a life, that is a bit of a silly reason i must admit,
Dont need to trap him, just tell him you arnt going to take contraception any more and its up to him to protect himself if he does not want more children.
4get means to trap him into being a parent again, not into a marriage.

He can walk out of a marriage even if he has a child.
Its not about the children he has already some people just have a limit to children they can handle. The babysitting thing is poor excuse. You have to just face facts he doesnt want any more children.
i have opposite problem, my partner has been nagging me to have another one and we have 4 between us, and im not 100% sure yet, so you wanna swap????? lol :-)
