Sweet baby Jesus and the orphans!! It's back on again in a fortnight and I'm starting to worry. Every year I vow not to watch the thing, but every year I do. Anyone else in the same boat? I could try to remove my own spleen with a rusty fork, but that would just mean a stay in hospital and it's bound to be on telly there.

If it's as rubbish as last year's BB you should have no problem avoidiing it!!!
You should do it the other way round - vow to watch it, and then be disappointed at missing a few episodes occasionally. I got into it by watching BB3 and BB4 avidly, and with hindsight, I always regret not watching BB1 and BB2.
Same here spiff & I'm old enough to know better! However, if what I heard is true & they are going to show it earlier, (on channel 4,don't have E4) then I may well manage to miss more of it! I didn't see BB1, & of the others I thought BB2 was best.
yup, I'm NEVER going to watch it......but I always do. And I have already been reading about some of this years shortlisted contestants - a same-sex couple, an asylum seeker, someone who Rordon Ramsay has shouted at and they've got the BB3 producer back - but I'm really NOT interested at all you understand
The first one was new and fresh and fairly watchable but after that they became c**p and boring and very predictable. Im dreading the next month or so because you can't get away from it, its on the news, in the papers, on the tv and everyone is talking about it.
I have vowed to instantly ignore and/or walk away from anyone who talks about this cack in my company......if you watch films like Running Man or Death Race 2000 it actually getting to be quite disturbing how much like the vision of the future these films portrayed our telly of now is turning out to be.
I have to admit....I'll probably check it out, if only on E4 durign the day when I get a chnce to chill out while baby naps.. After all, it depends on the folk who are in it to a large extent, and with the exception of Mr Tickle, last years were a bunch of dull, moronic self-obsessed twats. See C4 are promising this years will be "evil" (seen the trailers??) and generally bound to induce fight etc..which is great for mindless car-crash telly. Oh, and the bloke Ramsey shouted at is NOT going to be in the house, cos the fabulous Gordon let it slip on the show. Tee hee. I note that a lot of you guys who are so anti-BB are still taking the time to post here about it. I atke it you only watch news, serious dramas and documentaries?? Strange that..........I love the snobbery surrounding such programmes. Like intelligent people can't enjoy brain candy?? (and if that were the case, how did Tom Cruise and his ilk ever become box office hits...as surely his films are brain candy personified. There can't be that many low IQ bods in the world!!??) So do dumb people never watch anything that might be intellectually challenging? Such sweeping generalisations............
i'm gonna watch... i auditioned and got few a few rounds and down to the last few thousand but did not get on it. i wanna see if anyone from my audition group got on and then wonder why i didn't as i am infinatly more interesting/funnier/smarted/better looking etc than all the contestants combinded. then being very glad i'm not in there as it would have probably resulted in me being arrested for mass murder. ho hum...
you could gouge out your eyes with a stainless steel spoon (don't want lock jaw) and stuff wooden spikes in your ears which i can confidently state will stop aural/visual assault.
