whats up rom?
We have very heavy saucepans and once when I was really, completely, totally at the end of my tether, I smashed the inside of one of the kitchen cupboards with the heaviest one. It made a huge hole in the bottom shelf and knocked out the support for the top one so then it sagged - just to remind me every day how cross I had been. But it felt really faaaaab!!

Phew! Glad to get that off my chest by now! Mr nutgone never really noticed (wtf!?) and we got a new kitchen a year or so later, so I've kept that secret until now.....!!
Driving home after my son had died in my arms, just three days before his 21st birthday, I felt I was going to explode with sadness and despair. Alone in the car, I screamed his name as loudly as I could, desperate for him to hear me. My voice cracked and it felt as though I had torn my vocal cords. I never tried this again and never ever will. Now I talk to him gently and over the years I have learned to laugh with him again, even though he is no longer here.
When I sing, I have a very soft Irish voice. I so envy those who can sing really loudly. However, one thing is for sure, I have no urge to try and see just how a "primal scream" might feel again. Way too painful!!
