How on earth did you manage to do that?!

Call NHS Direct or your GP for advice.

i was at a friends and drank from her tap, she'd forgotten to tell me.
Oh dear, go and see a doctor, and he will prescribe you some stuff before the ecoli takes form. Remember to not drink from her tap again.
And don't think about it, just go and seek medical help.

are u sure, they wont think im stupid
So this was tap water? How has E-coli got in to the water system?

Presumably if it's in the water system and the water company knows about then it can't be that large a dose can it? Otherwise wouldn't they shut the pipes down?

Just call NHS Direct or the Quack. Bunch of internet pixels probably aren't going to make you feel a whole lot more reassured.
How does she know there is E-Coli present in her water system? If there was anything in the drinking water the local supplier would have cut off supplies to all homes affected. Sounds like a panic for no reason to me.

well they had someone in to to test it and they said dont drink it.
dear oh lord........
Where does your friend live?

Whereabouts (roughly)?

walkern, hertfordshire
Don't spend time on here, get down and see your doctor!
You need anti biotics, before the symptons come on!

crossroads..are u medically trained..i dont mean that spitefully..just curious.x.
You don't need to be medically trained to understand that you need medical help if you come into contact with E coli.

Personally I think your friend is on a wind-up, but best to go and get checked out, eh?
I would expect, if the outbreak was very bad, that something may have appeared in the news.

Also, if you drank it yesterday and still feeling ok now, I'm sure all will be well.

However, I would definitely say that you needed to get yourself along to a doctors just in case.
Jackanory.

if it was out of your friends tap the whole area would be suffering.

Stop talking rubbish
