Just glanced at telly, it seems there is a bit of a do for some woman . Her claim to fame ?? A dodgy marriage to elevate her position socially. Adultery, divorce. Bit of charity work and having lots of photos taken. Mother to queens grandkids ( so is fergy) Anyone remember Mother Teresa ( died same time)

Well Done Doc!!

Someone actually saying what thousands of us are thinking!!!

Why anyone apart from her family and friends would still be crying and grieving for this woman, who wouldn't have touched Charles with a bean pole if he wasnt a prince is, way beyond me!!!

Thanks niki. I like to stick my head over the parapit.
See, this is why I only watch Cebeebies! Don't get any of that "carry on" on there!x
Very harsh! She did a heck of a lot for people in the way of charity and also highlighted just hat a sad bunch and waste of space the rest of the royal family are! Also, most of the people who marry into that family are playing the fame game!
I'm utterly fed up of it, too! I switched off the radio this morning in disgust & probably won't switch it on again today. I'll watch Sky tonight, National Geo or the food channel, just so's I don't have to put up with sentimental drivel over someone who was a nobody before her marriage and would've remained so if she hadn't married whom she did. Mother Teresa was a real saint.
Yes, she did a lot for Charity.. But If I didnt have to Work for a living I could spare a few hours a day walking round and talking to sick people.

I would even be able to squeeze in time for an affair with a married rugby star, have a son by another man then pass him of as my husbands, and even go on tele to act upset and coy off my hubbies then s******g a horse........
I think many people need to have an idol of some kind to look up to. God is out of fashion, the Queen is too far removed from real people for them to identify with her. It's the X Factor syndrome- people WANT to make a star out of an ordinary person and buy their album at Xmas. Because she died, Princess Di will now be ridiculously elevated in these people's memories forever. But only because they NEED someone to adore. Maybe it keeps them in their place?

Perhaps I could be adored and idolised.

Mind you , I would be a bit naffed off if my hubby was playing away with an Audrey Roberts lookalike.
Come on Doc, Camilla is quite attractive

for a horse
to quote Eddie Izzard "my mum died, and no-one gave a s**t" it's true - thousands of good people who are selfless and give so much die every single year and no-one gives a stuff. It was sad for her kids, i agree, but i was only 19 when she died, i can see now what a publicity who*e she was, and how much she played up to the media.

Yeah she did a lot more than anyone else in the Royal Family, but i don't think she deserves so much fuss.
I want to be adored and explored lol

Spot on.
We're getting bombarded with the nonsense also:
