A polish girl my son met asked him out on a date, she arrived in this country without any money or place to stay and with out a job, my 24 year old son British born took her in his flat and helped her find a job, and obtain a doctor and give her a address to her name, after 2 months the relationship ended. She went to the police claiming he slapped her and abused her mobile phone.
The police arrested him and released on bail pending hearing. We are all devestated that we helped her. ( she cheated on him with her boss from work) police arrested him on ABH and harressement charge. I am worried as he has never been in any trouble before. What will happen to him??? Please help a desperate mother.

Reception - I really think you are better off posting this question in Law. You might get more knowlegeble answers from people who work in law.

Also. If you do ask this question again, in order to get an appropriate answer, I think they might actually ask you as to the nature of the relationship. Are there any any phone records that would substantiate her claim? Witnesses? Etc...

I'm not trying to be narky with regards to your post so apologies if it seems that way. I'm just trying to help so you get the most suitable response to your question.
I agree with China Doll. You will get better help in the Law section. They know their stuff in there.
did he slap her or not do you think, because if he did this has nothing to do with her being polish he shouldnt have done it. If he didnt do it what a scheming cow. My mate married a polish girl with a month of meeting her because she said if he didnt marry her she would have to go home, after a year a man knocked at his door to tell him he'd been sleeping with his wife.
i concur with China Doll.... if your son is innocent how devastating for your family and especially your son . I wish you all the best in a positive resolution to this matter

I have nothing against Polish women but I know those that our in Uk are here because of money and a place to stay. They imagine the country is painted with Gold, when infect its not. we work hard for the things we buy. I am devestated that a young man took on this girl and she treated him in this way. Some one who is a graduate and has never held any crminial records of any sort for the 24 years of his life is suddenley finds himself involved with the police. This is not right. As a mother I have suffered a great deal I know my son is not that sort of person, it was simple he was a virgin she on the other hand experienced woman arrived from nowere and took everything he had. and now being arrested for what??? a broken heart? there's no prise on love. I looked after her fed her, gave her clothes and bought her weely food shopping, I paid for her rent. I found a job for her in superdrug and this is what I got in return, My life has come to a stand still so has my son's how can any one justify this???
