He also invented the telephone.

Question Author
4 alias's = 4 brain cells you babboon!
Ah k9, how are you today, in fine fettle and leaping well I trust.
Many amoebae are facultative pathogens capable of living many generations without infecting a host. You though seem affected, k9. To call someone an amebae (presume you mean one-celled parasite, since an amebae is by definition one-celled) is really rather pedagogic for a Tuesday afternoon in the school holidays.

Robinson Crusoe.
Er... I second wotever the clever geezer said above. ^^^

Did Robinson Crusoe invent the telephone then? Was that out of a palm tree by any chance? Or did he stumble upon 2 yoghurt pots and a piece of string?
Champagne - no, Tin-Tin lol !! It was Alexander Selkirk who invented the telephone, I'm not entirely stupid.
alexander graham bell ?
You rang, madam ?
Alexander Selkirk invented the telephone? Are you sure?????

I reckon he just shouted loudly from that island he was castaway on. Hardly the same thing at all. Hahaha!

Seriously, i've never heard that EVER, hence me querying it.
Maybe the reference to Selkirk is erroneous? As is alluding to Tin Tin being a famous character from English literature.
No, I meant Tin-Tin as in Tin-piece of string-Tin. You talk into Tin 1 and another person can hear you in Tin 2.
No. You're confusing tins with yoghurt pots, Whiffey. And if you check your records I believe that was what Mr Selkirk invented: yoghurt pot - string - yoghurt pot. He patented the idea. He has nothing to do with the invention of the telephone we know today.

And Tin-Tin is a famous literary character. As is the likes of Gnasher. I'll fight you over this Octavius!!!
A famous character yes, but from Belgian literature.

We can still fight though Champagne. Will naked mud-wrestling do?
