How to beat the boredom?

I had an operation on my right hand on Friday. Minimum of two weeks off work and i'm bored already!

Can't do too much with one hand, even typing with one hand is driving me crazy.

I'm normally a workaholic so i'm going to go mad without work. Any suggestions for helping me keep my sanity?

Since it is finally sunny why not go out for a walk/ go to museum, have this two weeks to unwind and relax, even go and see family you don't usually get time to visit obviously not in the car but try public transport.

Thanks DONNA1458, a walk sounds like a good idea. Must admit there are places I have wanted to visit and never seemed to have the time! Not so easy visiting family as they are all over 200 miles away.

Hi efc , hope your hand soon gets back to normal use and you can get back to working happily . Isn't it amazing how difficult everyday life becomes with one hand when you are so used to having use of both ? All the best :-)
