When are they supposed to be around? - I just saw one dancing about on the window outside - is it not supposed to be Autumn before they appear? I am really terrified of these things - totally irrational I know - especially as i am not fussed at all about bees and wasps!

What scares you for no logical reason?

And I once put an old muslin cloth thing over my head then looked in a mirror to see what ghosts looked like, and scared myself half to death!! How stupid does that sound now!!?? What a strange, scaredy-cat child I must have been!

I was once traumatised when I had to use a farm's outdoor toilet in the middle of the night, armed with a torch, it was the scariest thing I have ever experienced, there were spiders bigger than my hands there and all manner of creepy crawlies, I wouldnt sit on the toilet, I also felt something on the chain when i pulled it

I know what you mean smudge - I once saw a programme when I was a kid - I think it was called beasts - anyway, this couple bought this old house and were renovating it, they found this weird (dead) creature wrapped in a blanket inside the walls - various weird things then happened, culminating in them going into a room after they could hear creaking in there, only to find a big version of the creature sitting in their rocking chair with what was obviously the baby one which the couple had found, in its arms being rocked away. Scared the beejesus out of me as I was only about 10 at the time - would probably be funny now, but I am now irrationally scared of rocking chairs and have to make sure that any chair in a bedroom I am sleeping in is either covered in stuff, or pushed in so that no-one can sit in it. - on that note, i am going to bed!
Cracked me up pussnboots! At least I won't have nightmares tonight - well I hope not. Eeeeek!!
