guarenteed waist trimming exercise needed!

i am fit, healthy, size 10, work out 5 times a week with a good mix of cardio and weights and i do cruches, oblique twists using a medicine ball, etc, but i really wanna trim my waist in even more, as in my opinion i could lose another inch (currently 27). prepared to put the work in for results. any ideas or tried and tested methods?

Have you tried adding pilates to your routine?
I find that although crunches tone my abs, they don't really shrink my waist measurement because they build the muscles up.
try running, it is also very good for toninig, the harder you work, the better the results.

i have done pilates before with little results, not adverse to trying again though so thanks for that and as for running - i cannot run for sh*t! had shin splits as a youngster and have never owned a pair of decent running trainers! i would love to be able to jog, but i just cant!
