I am upset today, my boyfriend and me had a row this morning and he said that I think to much of myself and that im not all that and now my confidence is at a real low. I have tried calling him but he wont answer his phone and he is going out tonight with his work mates and I am really worried he will cheat on me now. He says that I am vain and think I am all that. I don't really although I do take care of myself and care about how I look. Is this the end for us?

he thinks youre vain and you dont trust him.

Sounds likes its gone past the stage where it shouldve ended
Firstly, at least you wrote 'my boyfriend and me' not 'me and my boyfreind' (it should have been my boyfreind and I to be grammatically correct but never mind) and so you must put him first mentally.
Secondly, what does 'all that' mean?
Corrinne, if you think there is a posibility he might cheat on you after 1 argument, is what you have got together really that strong? How long have you been toghether?
sounds like he feels insecure, he is trying to undermine your confidence because of his insecurity. Normally you would work through this problem, I wouldnt say it was the end, but who knows these days?
Hi Corrinne,
Personally, any man that undermines your confidence is cruel. Get rid.
There are plenty of kind gentlemen out there that would love a lady that looks after herself.
You should tell him he's an ar5ehole and say bye bye.
Go out with your friends tonight and enjoy yourself :-)
Unfortunately, for men there is a very fine line between taking car of yourself, having pride in how you look, and vanity. Perhaps he is fed up that you spend too much time looking at yourself in the mirror to be bothered with a relationship. Who knows? We certainly dont know the ins and outs of your relationship, but from what you have given us, Redcrx above is spot on. End it, move on.

Or would you rather we pamper your temperament and say that he is an evil, insecure, untrustworthy bstard who deserves to be thumped? Either way, our opinions will probably have little effect and all will be forgiven this evening and it will have only been a tiff with nasty words on the spur of the moment.
I did have a partner that, if I so much as put on a couple of pounds would say I was looking fat. I weighed 7 st.
So Octavius is right. Only you can decide what is the best way to deal with this.
